Where Leadership Lives On — The AMCD Legacy Circle

The Legacy Circle: AMCD Past Presidents Forum is an exclusive, invitation-only space designed to honor, engage, and elevate the voices of those who have previously served as President of the Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development.

This distinguished forum brings together a powerful collective of seasoned leaders whose experiences, insights, and institutional knowledge continue to shape the future of AMCD. The Legacy Circle serves as both a think tank and a legacy-building platform—ensuring that the wisdom of past leadership remains an active force in guiding the organization forward.

As a member of the Legacy Circle, past presidents will have access to:

  • Executive Roundtable Discussions: Private, high-level conversations addressing emerging issues, strategic direction, and organizational impact.

  • Advisory Influence: Opportunities to provide input on key initiatives, policy considerations, and long-term vision planning.

  • Mentorship & Leadership Development: A structured space to mentor current and emerging leaders within AMCD.

  • Legacy Preservation: Contributions to documented histories, thought leadership pieces, and archival storytelling that capture the evolution of AMCD.

  • Exclusive Engagements: Invitations to closed-door sessions, special briefings, and VIP events aligned with AMCD conferences and programming.

  • Peer Reconnection: A space to reconnect, collaborate, and build alongside fellow past presidents who share a commitment to multicultural advocacy and leadership.

The Legacy Circle is more than a gathering—it is a continuation of service, a strengthening of community, and a reaffirmation that leadership within AMCD does not end with a term, but evolves into lasting impact.

We honor the vision, courage, and commitment of AMCD’s Past Presidents whose leadership co
