Join the AMCD Mentorship Program
The AMCD Mentorship Program is a culturally responsive initiative that connects members of the Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development (AMCD) through shared interests in research, clinical practice, supervision, and cultural identity. This program is grounded in AMCD’s mission:
“To advance and sustain personal growth and improve educational opportunities for members from diverse cultural backgrounds.”

By participating in this mentorship program, you are contributing to a legacy of advocacy, professional excellence, and community support within AMCD.
We invite you to take part—whether as a mentor or mentee:

Mentors and mentees will be matched based on shared goals and professional interests. All participants are expected to:

Meet at least four times throughout the academic year.

Attend a mandatory orientation prior to the start of the program.

Remain actively engaged through the academic year, culminating in a presentation at the AMCD Summit held during the ACA Conference.
